Great work on the developer. Exactly what I needed. I used it to map fancy VIM key combinations. " Alt-L -> next buffer nmap ¬ :bnext<CR> “ Alt-H -> previous buffer nmap ˙ :bprev<CR>
This one is really useful for developers
This application is not working!
does just what it says. Thanks!
If you do anything involving modifier codes, key codes, hot keys, etc, then installing Key Codes should be a no-brainer. Its definitely earned its spot amongst my developer tools.
Very useful app. Thanks to the developer.
The app reports most standard keys; however, the play/pause keys and the volume control keys, etc., do not show up.
I thought this app did something completely different, to be honest. I dont really know what to do with it. But for whatever it does I hope its useful.:)
This app has helped me a lot with the development of my apps. Trying to figure out keycodes can be quite tricky. This app makes that VERY SIMPLE.
This came in handy when trynig to make my mac and linux machines play nicely together. Im using Synergy to control both with a single keyboard but remapping keys for consistency. Couldnt have done it without a utility like this to help see whats going on behin the scenes.
Simple and to the point, very handy for development!
Great app, thanks! Couldnt find a list of keycodes anywhere on the internet, this is awesome and so easy to use.
For developers, this is a simple but very handy app.
the BEST key code info app Ive ever used sinde Full Key Codes(which wont launch on 10.7 any longer).
Great for anything on the keybord, but the program fails to recognize some inputs from external devices. Very helpful but could be better...
If you need to test with other keyboard language layouts, just add them (along with the character and keyboard viewers) to the Input Methods menu then open the keyboard viewer and select the language you need!
This is a great little app, but Id be willing to pay for the convenience if it had the following improvements: custom display of key codes (fonts, background, colors, etc.) optional display in the same style as the built in Sticky Keys displays in preferences display of codes in table format works in all modes (full screen terminal apps, virtual machines, etc.) integrated with Sticky Keys of the OS Thanks much for developing the app.
I just spent about 30 minutes on google, and got an incorrect key code that resulted in about 20 minutes of irritation. This little utility took about 30 seconds, so I highly reccomend it. Plus, the price is unbeatable.
I use it whilst programming. Very useful, and the user interface is quite intuitive. Good work.
